If you would like to accompany your children on a field trip during the year or volunteer in your child's classroom; the summer is a good time to obtain your Background Check.  You can go to www.aps.edu and take care of everything online.  Everyone must have a background to go on field trips or work in classrooms.  We appreciate your help and volunteerism.

Please let us know if we can be of help.

We are launching our Bilingual Seal for our 5th grade students this year.  This is voluntary on the part of our Caballeros and the response has been very positive.  Students were asked to have parents sign letters acknowledging their support and mentors were selected from our Coronado staff.  Participants must complete a portfolio which will include a Service Learning component that must be completed outside of school hours.  Students must use their Spanish speaking skills during their Service Learning.

We applaud our facilitator, Sarah Lopez and all of our mentors for giving of their time and energy to support our outstanding Caballeros.
